Sleepawake runs emotional-relational programs for young adults, because the quality of our relationships is one of the biggest predictors of long term health and wellbeing. We believe relationship skills are best learned in group experiential settings.

Sleepawake Immersive

Sleepawake Immersive is a nine day residential retreat for young adults. At Sleepawake Immersive, we’ll cover much of the same content as we’ve covered in the past at Sleepawake Camp:

All of these skills are taught in a safe, supportive container, which is often attendees’ deepest experience of being safely held.

Our Lead Facilitators

Cat Tweedie, Ph.D., Cofounder & Lead Facilitator

Cat was an All-American pole vaulter in college, and earned her PhD at MIT in Materials Science and Engineering.

At 37, a sudden physical breakdown lasting over a year was a turning point in learning to honor needs and the pain of uncertainty, fear, disappointment, heartbreak with greater steadiness and compassion.

She is now a cofounder & lead facilitator at Sleepawake Camp. Her embodiment-focused teaching weaves multiple lineages and 25 years of meditation practice. Her primary teachers include Patrick Conner, Dustin DiPerna, energy practice with Lynda Caesara, Core Energetics with JoAnn Lavascio, and collective trauma studies with Thomas Huebl.

Jeff Lieberman, MSx2, Cofounder & Lead Facilitator

Jeff received four degrees at MIT (Physics, Math, Mech E and Robotics). He hosted “Time Warp” on the Discovery Channel, and made large-scale art for 15 years.

By external measures, he was incredibly successful. But inside, something was missing. This disconnect led him to a deep depression in high school, and chronic pain for almost 20 years after that.

He has spent the last 15 years training in meditation, personal development, and group dynamics for well being, facilitating multiple inner work intensives. His teachers and spiritual influences include Anna-Lisa Adelberg, Dustin DiPerna, Daniel P. Brown, Joann Lovascio, Gian-Carlo Rota, and Nisargadatta. He speaks around the world on the topics of art, science, education, healing, and consciousness.

Our Modalities

Our facilitators also bring a deep appreciation of the evolution of consciousness and the sources of human suffering and joy.
